Without a nickel in our pockets we came together—musicians, artists, activists, workers—and organized the Northside: A Twin Cities Community Benefit at the State Theatre on June 12th, 2011.  Through the concert at the State Theatre and online donations to the Hennepin Theatre Trust on behalf of Northside Relief, we were able to raise a considerable amount of money to help the victims of the tornado in North Minneapolis!

To celebrate, we are hosting a press conference at noon this Wednesday, July 13th, at the North Community YMCA – where we will announce the nine recipients of the Northside Relief funds.
